Hey, it's Melissa. Thank you so much for visiting. I'll be back open as soon as I can, but right now my focus is on getting my sister's four children acclimated to a new life with me and my family.

My sister and her husband were unexpectedly and tragically taken from all of us on Tuesday June 27th when a wrong-way drunk driver hit them head on. Three of their children were hospitalized with broken bones and internal injuries.

While they will never have their parents back, my sister and I had an unwritten pact with each other that if anything happened to either one of us we would make sure the kids were ok. I've loved this kids like they were my own since the day each of them was born, all of that love has just been taken to an entirely new level.

My niece loves coming to my shop and making candles just as much as I do, so as soon we're all settled I can assure you I'll be back. Until then, I just ask for some grace, patience and prayers as we all navigate our way through this new normal.
